This website was written by Dr. Moshe Gips, a graduate of Tel Aviv University Medical School and a board-certified specialist in General Surgery. In the 1990s, he developed a minimally invasive treatment for pilonidal disease, based on targeted excision using small punches. The technique has been published in the medical literature and is now used by surgeons in around the world.
